SUPPORT NLBM - NOVEMBER 12
Put on your calendar the 2024 “Day of Giving” online giving opportunity managed by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation and 22 funders. Family Upreach, Inc. (dba NewLife Behavior Ministries) must raise $24,000 to receive $24,000 in “matching funds.” This starts us out with $48,000 and every penny afterward adds to what we hope will be $100,000 by midnight November 12! Giving begins at 12 a.m. (midnight) that day and ends at 11:59 p.m. with minimum gifts of $10. This year will be our 10th year to be included as one of the nonprofits.
Watch Channel 3 News to view brief presentations of what the nonprofits are doing to Fight Hunger, Support Children, Improve Health, and Reduce Homelessness. Channel 3 News is our Media Sponsor. NewLife Behavior Ministries hits the bull’s eye of all these targets. NLBM over the previous 9 years has been blessed to receive a total of $655,553.
One thing you can do to help prevent you from forgetting to give on November 12 is to make your gift early. Each year friends call the day after and apologize for getting busy on THE day. Their gifts would have been a big help to us. EARLY GIFTS may be made between November 4 and November 11 by going to www.CoastalBendDayofGiving.org, find the “Family Upreach” page, and make your gift.

What is Family Upreach, Inc. (NewLife Behavior Ministries) and how we help
Family Upreach, Inc. (dba: NewLife Behavior Ministries) is often shortened to NLBM. This is a comprehensive program assisting in behavioral improvement. It is a ministry of hope, reconciling individuals to God, families, and society. We believe all humans are created by God in His image (Genesis 1:26-27) and we are the most complete, fulfilled, and productive when living daily in harmony with His Will.
NLBM researches, designs, develops, produces, and distributes life-changing curriculum and tools to facilitate the reconciliation process. The curriculum is popular tool among those in jails and prisons. It is helpful with substance abuse recovery. It is powerful in community outreach and Bible classes in local churches. We recruit and train instructors in the best use of this material.
The NLB curriculum is available “free” to missionaries overseas through our separate but sister organization – NewLife Behavior International (www.nlbi.net). In the USA, users make a small donation for a license to reproduce each course.
Why the Butterfly?
We use the Monarch butterfly logo because it fitly illustrates change (Romans 12:1-2). The caterpillar goes through a Godoriented process (not always attractive) to evolve into a beautiful butterfly. In a spiritual sense, we are born again to live drastically new lives. Our goal is to provide a path to better living for us all, our families, and society by establishing and maintaining a close relationship with God.
